Sugarloaf to host Maine Ski Heritage Classic
Make plans this weekend to attend the second annual Maine Ski Heritage Classic at Sugarloaf Mountain.
Come and see some of Maine's classic skis and historic memorabilia, and watch as skiers dressed in heritage ski wear take to the slopes on Saturday.
Over $13,000 of auction items will be available at the reception, silent auction and live auction scheduled at the Sugarloaf Inn.
Saturday, February 14th
Ski Museum of Maine Exhibit - Photos, memorabilia and historic snowsport equipment highlight the industry's growth from the 1900s through today. Sugarloaf Base Lodge. 10:30am - 3:30pm.

Vintage Ski & Clothing On-snow Expo - Guests are invited to dress in classic ski garb, display equipment of yesteryear and share stories. Located on The Landing outside the Sugarloaf Base Lodge. 2pm.
Vintage Ski & Clothing Group Photo - Say "cheese" and be a part of history. The Landing outside the Sugarloaf Base Lodge. 3pm.
Vintage Ski & Clothing Parade - After the Group Photo, guests are invited to ski/walk down to the Sugarloaf Inn and take part in the evening's activities. The Landing outside the Sugarloaf Base Lodge. 3:30pm.
You will find some terrific values to bid on at the silent auction and reception. It is open to the public for a suggested donation of $10. The reception and silent auction is from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by the live auction by Keenan Auction, from 5 to 5:30.
