Most likely the name Gunstock doesn't ring a bell with most Mainers. Most will think of the term that is attached to a barrel of a gun.

Well, you're partially right, but the "Gunstock" I'm referring to is a wonderful family ski area located in the town of Guilford, in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, just about two hours west from Portland.
