The Chadwick Hill Cemetery Association, at its annual meeting July 31, adopted the following by-law addition:
"The Association will not allow any private diggings within the cemetery grounds. Any site work involving burials must be approved by the Sexton (Ann
Grimshaw) and done by an approved and experienced excavator. No private
diggings will be allowed".
