Flood hardly real to five-year-old I was about 5 and I remember being in Madison and going to the fourth floor in our apartment and watching the water roll down Old Point Avenue. It was so crazy seeing that much water when I was so small, it didn't seem real to me. I was scared I would lose my kitten but my dad held me and the cat up on the porch while our neighbors and us watched with shock as the water just kept coming. There was a good 6 inches high of water on the street.
