SOCCER: Something to prove

After being left off the Maine Soccer Coaches Association Class D all-star team, Richmond's Andy Harrington has something to prove.

It's tough to figure how coaches left the junior forward off the team, especially when three of his teammates were selected. Harrington was named captain this season by Coach Joe Scribellito and is a team leader on and off the field. His skills and competitiveness are among the best in the state in any class.
"I don't know what happened there," said Harrington after scoring four goals Tuesday in a playoff game against Greater Portland Christian."That helps motivate me more and I'm just pound every game now and show them I should have been there."

It is my understanding that the coach is supposed to put names of his own team for members of the association to look at throughout the year . May be his coach did not do that Makes you wonder doesn"t????????
