High School Sports Scott Martin has covered high school sports at the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel for the eight years. A graduate of Lake Region High School
and the University of Maine in Orono, Martin has worked for these newspapers for nearly 10 years. Martin also coaches middle school baseball and basketball in his spare time.
Brad Carleton has five rushes for 37 yards and a 10-yard touchdown run as the Gardiner Tigers jumped out to a 14-0 lead over Mountain Valley after the first quarter of the Class B state championship game.
