The Pine Tree Conference held its annual banquet on Dec. 2 and a number of local athletes and coaches were honored.

In Class A, Cony High School coach Robby Vachon, who led the Rams to a 5-5 record (including a win in the Cony-Gardiner rivalry game) in his first season as Cony's head coach, was named Coach of the Year. Lawrence High School quarterback Jack Hersom was named the Player of the Year.
In Class B, Gardiner quarterback Kyle Stilphen shared Offensive Player of the Year honors with Morse High School's Darrus Grate. Gardiner linebacker Brad Carleton was named the defensive player of the year.
