High School Sports
Scott Martin has covered high school sports at the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel for the eight years. A graduate of Lake Region High School and the University of Maine in Orono, Martin has worked for these newspapers for nearly 10 years. Martin also coaches middle school baseball and basketball in his spare time.

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: Two win state titles

Gardiner Area High School's Matt DelGallo continue the impressive start to his high school career and Mt. Blue High School's Sam Webber put an impressive end to his.

DelGallo, a sophomore, won his second state title. Last year, he won the Class B title in the 112-pound weight class to finish his season 35-0. This year, he moved up to Class A, and won another 112-pound title, this time with a 22-6 win over Bonny Eagle's Dalton Groger.
Webber also won his second state title, beating Deering's Ryan Toussaint 7-1 in the 130-pound weight class. Webber finishes his high school career with a record of 148-12.

What about the Mt Blue Middle School Wrestlers.Thet won the Central Maine Wrestling League.I feel it is unfar for them.
