High School Sports
Bill Stewart has covered professional, collegiate and scholastic sports for 10 years. A University of Maine graduate, Stewart has worked with the Morning Sentinel and Kennebec Journal for a year. Prior to moving to Maine, Stewart worked for daily newspapers in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Stewart and his wife have one child.

HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: FINAL: Lewiston 5, Waterville 2

Jon Roy scores a hat trick and Jordan Bourgoin adds a goal and an assist as Lewiston advances to its fourth consecutive Class A state title game. The Blue Devils dominated the last two periods and the Panthers were hurt by a 10-minute game misconduct penalty to senior leader John Massey.

Nice effort by Waterville. Biddeford will crush Lewiston. Maybe we can call that the "Frog Bowl" ??
