HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: DelGiudice Travis Roy Award finalist

Messalonskee senior forward Matt DelGiudice is one of four finalists for the Travis Roy Award.

The award is given to the most outstanding senior in Class A. DelGiudice led Eastern A in scoring with 65 points (28 goals, 37 assists). He finished his career with 164 points, which was good for third place in school history. DelGiudice, who will attend Bridgton Academy next fall, set school records this season with goals (six) and assists (eight) in a game.

The other finalists include Lewiston forward Jon Roy, Biddeford goalie Tony Dube and Falmouth goalie Derek Kump.

The winner will be announced Sunday during a banquet at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. The event starts at noon.
