High School Sports
Scott Martin has covered high school sports at the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel for the eight years. A graduate of Lake Region High School and the University of Maine in Orono, Martin has worked for these newspapers for nearly 10 years. Martin also coaches middle school baseball and basketball in his spare time.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Dionne finishes sophomore season at Brandeis

Hall-Dale High School graduate Chelsey Dionne recently finished her sophomore year at Brandeis University.

Dionne played in nine games for the Judges, averaging 5.4 minutes, 1.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.

Brandeis finished the season 19-8 and earned its third straight bid to the NCAA Division III tournament

Dionne is a 2006 graduate of Hall-Dale and played on the Bulldogs 2006 Western C regional championship team.
