High School Sports
Scott Martin has covered high school sports at the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel for the eight years. A graduate of Lake Region High School and the University of Maine in Orono, Martin has worked for these newspapers for nearly 10 years. Martin also coaches middle school baseball and basketball in his spare time.

Talking football

The high school football season kicks off tonight and we are trying something new.

Every Thursday, staff writers Travis Lazarczyk and Bill Stewart will sit down and discuss the upcoming games. The video will be posted on our home pages www.kjonline and www.onlinesentinel.com each Friday. Here's their chat for Week 1.
