FOOTBALL VIDEO: Winthrop seniors talk championship

Jordan Conant had on big winter mittens, a mask covering his face another and a hat covering his head, ears and the back of his neck (but he still had on his trademark green bandana). And he kept complaining that his cheeks were numb.

And Conant was fired up.

Thursday evening at the Kents Hill School, the air was bitterly cold, but Winthrop High School's football players didn't seem to mind. The Ramblers were taking part in their second to last practice before they face Dirigo in the Class C state championship game on Saturday.

Staff writer Bill Stewart and I visited practice Thursday and spoke with three Winthrop seniors. They shared their thoughts on playing in the state championship game, what they do offensively and defensively, and what challenges they think they will face against Dirigo.

Here is a video with some of their thoughts.
