GIRLS BASKETBALL: Frame hits milestone

Morgan Frame added to her already impressive resume Friday night when he surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career in the Waterville girls basketball team's 55-20 win over Belfast.
Frame, who will play at St. Anselm's next year, finished the game with 30 points. She entered needing four points, after scoring just 13 points in a 47-39 win over Medomak Valley.
Frame has been a vital contributor for the Panthers in their amazing three-season run through Class B. Waterville has now won 52 straight regular season and Maine Principals' Association tournament games. The Panthers, two-time defending Class B state champs, improved to 8-0 with Friday's win.
"She is a tremendous player and deserving of this," Waterville coach Ted
Rioux said. "She is certainly one of the best players in the state and the
best players that I have coached."
