The Hall-Dale girls basketball team will be down a couple of starters heading into its final four games of the regular season.

The Bulldogs learned this week senior forward Ariel Howes has mononucleosis and will miss at least two weeks.
"Now it's huge, because Jess Woods is out, so we're losing two starters in two nights," Hall-Dale coach Wes Brann said.
The Bulldogs lost Woods, a junior guard, late in Friday night's win against Winthrop when she reinjured her left ankle.
Brann said his bench has played well, though, and hoped it could take up the slack as his team jockeys for position in the Western Maine Class C tournament standings.
"We've been playing nine or 10 kids," he said.
