Lobster Bowl head coaches selected

Dan O'Connell of John Bapst will coach the East and Dean Plante of Old Orchard Beach will coach the West squad at this summer's 20th Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl, the annual high school all-star football game played to benefit Shriner's hospitals.

O'Connell led Bapst to the Class C state title last fall with a win over Winthrop.

Western Maine won last year's game, 24-6, and leads the series 15-4.

Kickoff is set for 4 p.m., Saturday, July 25.
