Zane selects URI

Former Mt. View High School soccer standout Cody Zane signed a letter of intent to play his college soccer at the University of Rhode Island.

"Cody brings us depth and versatility in the midfield and defense and I can only see him getting better each time he steps on the field," URI head coach John O'Connor said in a statement released by the school.

Zane, who transferred to North Yarmouth Academy for his senior year, had 18 goals and seven assists in 64 high school games.
